Outside Magazine's "Best Town Ever"

For 50 years, our mountain has been part of one of America's great ski towns. Over time, Park City has become a year-round destination not only for skiers and snowboarders, but hikers, bikers, wine enthusiasts, film buffs, paddleboarders, music lovers, trail runners, art festival goers, foodies, marathoners and even wanna-be cowboys.

So while it's a thrill, it's not exactly a surprise that Outside Magazine named Park City its "Best Town Ever" for 2013.

Outside gave the article's author just 72 hours to find out if Park City had the chops to hold up to a title like 'Best Town Ever.' That turned out to be plenty of time: from world-class skiing and snowboarding to 370 miles of hiking & biking trails, a blue-ribbon trout stream, amazing restaurants and our own ski in/ski out whiskey distillery (just for starters) - there's plenty to do here winter and summer. Of course you can do all this whether you live here or not, but getting enough time to check everything off your to-do list is another matter.

So how do you become a permanent resident? Outside's author sums it up, now you just have to figure it out: "The real trick to being a Park City local is finding a way to stay."
