Do The Park City Food and Wine Classic the Right Way
— Posted by Andy on July 10, 2014
The Park City Food and Wine Classic returns this weekend, it's an incredible 5-day combination of wine and food in a beautiful mountain setting that only Park City can provide. Of course, you're not really doing the Classic if you're not making Park City Mountain Resort part of your weekend. Here's just a few ways to make the most of the Food and Wine Classic by making us part of it:
Take Friday evening's Stroll of Park City Grand Tasting on Main Street up a notch by adding a romantic scenic charlift ride. Town Lift loads right on the bottom of Main Street, carries you up and over Park City's funky and iconic Old Town neighborhood, up to one of our peaks. Get off and enjoy a panorama of vistas or stay on the chair and ride back down to the bottom of the lift, with a breathtaking view of Park City's Historic Main Street laid out before you as you approach.
We have more than a dozen summer activities going on around the mountain - virtually all of them accessible right from our base area! Take a spin on our toboggan-style alpine slide (one of the longest in the world) or bank and drop through an aspen grove on Utah's longest alpine coaster. Or soar among the tree tops, 110 feet off the ground, on our ZipRider.
Work Off the Fun on our Trails
Feeling guilty after going heavy on the filet mignon sliders? Feeling a little foggy after that extra glass of pinot? Work off the food, or clear your head, on our more than 70 miles of hiking and biking trails across the mountain! Ride or hike up to a peak yourself if you're feeling motivated, or let one of our bike-equipped chairlifts do the work for you if you're starting slow - and cruise back down to the base area. And with terrain for just about any ability level, our trails are easily accessible.
