On The Snow: Womens Ski Camp

Switching over from one plank to two, I had the chance to partake in our Womens Ski Camp last weekend. The camp is designed for women who are intermediate skiers or riders looking to improve their ability and confidence. This is for those that are comfortable on a blue trail and wanting to move towards black trails, maybe even ski some bumps.

EpicPromise Grants Reception 2016

This year's reception awarded $2 million dollars to 31 non-profits that support the basic needs of local children and focus on the community's social issues. Nell Larson's team from the Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter won the EpicPromise Kids 2016 award.

Running With Ed

This year’s 8th annual Running with Ed (RWE) relay occurred on Saturday, May 21. This 38 mile, 10-leg relay race brought the entire Park City community together to celebrate one cause- Park City’s School District.

Make the Switch!

Park City and Summit County are finalists for the Georgetown Energy Prize. This $5 million prize is awarded to the community with the greatest reduction in energy for residences and government. We’re working with Summit Community Power Works (SCPW) to help you switch your lights to LED bulbs, and install smart thermostats to save energy and protect the environment in which we live, work and play.
