Start your day at Park City Mountain Village

Breakfast:  Head to Jupiter Java for the best part of the day. Mom and Dad can get their coffee fix while the kids munch on fresh baked pastries. Jupiter Java is located on the first floor of Legacy Lodge, next to PayDay Express and is spot to kick off your day.

Mid-Morning (Option #1): With kids under 10 years old, take a ride on Crescent Express. This scenic chairlift ride will allow you to sit back and enjoy the ride. Once you get off at the top, take a moment to take in the views of the Wasatch and Uinta Mountain Ranges. From there, take a hike along the groomed access roads and learn about our mining heritage. And be sure to keep an eye out for wildlife and wild flowers, all the way until the trail leads you back into the village.

Mid-Morning (Option #2): Or, for kids over the age of 10, you'll want to head over to Legacy Sports and get your family geared up with rental mountain bikes! Once our experienced staff has you outfitted, take a ride up Crescent Express to haul you and your bikes up the mountain. Pick any of the abundant trails on the trail map and away you go. (Hint: Mojave to Mid-Mountain to Jenni’s is an awesome route and a great way to get back to the base area.)

But for older children, you don’t want to miss the a ride on one of the longest Alpine Slides in the world. There are four tracks to choose from so you have a new option each time you ride. And finally, top it off with a ride together on the Alpine Coaster, which reaches speeds of 30 mph as it coasts more than a mile down the mountain.
