Happy Thanksgiving. The American Council on Fitness estimates that the average person consumes around 3,000 calories on Thanksgiving Day. But don't feel guilty, Bonanza Lift opens for the season tomorrow morning, serving upper Homerun. Homerun is our longest run on the mountain, providing 3.5 miles of non-stop skiing/riding from the Summit to the Base.
Summit House restaurant, at the top of Bonanza, will also open to guests for the season and will be open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Beverages and snacks will be served 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and hot food 10:30 a.m.-3 p.m.
How many laps will you need to take on Homerun burn 3,000 calories?
Stay tuned for more terrain openings in the coming weeks, and see you on the mountain!
