Our Christmas Eve Torchlight Parade is a tradition as old as the resort itself. This year will be its 52nd incarnation.

Saturday, December 13 - Santa Rides Down the Town Lift
Kick off the holiday season at Town Lift Plaza, right on Lower Main Street, as we welcome Santa, Rudolph, and the rest of the reindeer to town! Free hot cocoa, cookies and Christmas carols begin on the plaza at 5:30 as we wait for the Jolly Olde Elf to descend from the skies on Town Lift and land on the plaza to take pictures and take gift requests from those on his NICE list. A favorite of locals and visitors, this event is free and open to the public. Learn more HERE.

Wednesday, December 24 - Traditional Torchlight Parade and Christmas Eve Celebration
Enjoy holiday music, hot beverages and cookies in the resort plaza at sunset before watching our entire ski & snowboard school staff parade down PayDay run in a beautiful torchlight procession that makes for a truly memorable Christmas Eve atmosphere. This torchlight parade is one of our most cherished traditions, it's been going every year since the resort first opened in 1963! Admission and refreshments are free. Learn more HERE. Keep your eyes open on the slopes during Christmas Eve Day, as well, Santa himself will be out getting some runs in - and spreading cheer - before beginning his rounds that night.
