Kids Adventure Games (Fri., June 16 – Sun., June 18)

Wall climb, zip line, slip’n slide, mud pit, and mountain bike loop.  Think you can conquer it all?  That’s not even half of it!  Kids aged 6-14 years old take to the course on mountain bike, foot, or on water through a number of different obstacles and challenges designed for children.  They might be muddy, sweaty, and tired, but when kids cross the finish line, they’re smiling and filled with pride.

Jupiter Peak Steeplechase (Sat., July 29)

La Sportiva takes trail running to the highest peak at Park City Mountain.  With 3,000 feet in vertical gain in a 16 mile loop, this race is not for the faint of heart.  The course map resembles a V for “Vertical”, crossing Jupiter Peak at 10,000 feet in elevation.  Elite and everyday athletes flock to Park City for the Jupiter Peak Steeplechase.

Mid-Mountain Marathon (Sat., August 19)

Sporting a new course for 2017, the Mid-Mountain Marathon passes through two ski resorts and finishes at the base of Utah Olympic Park.  Competitors run through Park City’s aspen and evergreen forests at an average elevation of 8,200 feet.  Presented by Salomon Running, the Mid-Mountain Trail is a mountain trail running paradise with few technical spots, continual climbs, and fast downhills.

Park City Point 2 Point (Sat., September 2)

The nation’s most tried and true mountain bike races come to Park City for a 75 mile course with approximately 12,000 feet of climbs.  Organizers encourage racers to pre-ride the course or to bring a GPS with the course pre-loaded because of the chance of getting lost on any of the vast amount of trails.  Riders pass through both of Park City’s ski resort properties, challenging them physically and mentally, for a true point to point race.

The North Face Endurance Challenge (Sat., September 23 – Sun., September 24)

When discussing premiere trail running events around the globe, The North Face Endurance Challenge is always in the conversation.  A two day running event turns into a festival, featuring eight trail racing events:  Gore-Tex 50 Mile, 50K, Marathon, Marathon Relay, Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, and Kid’s Run.  Spanning across the Wasatch Back, athletes start at the highest elevation within the North America series at 7,000 feet and cross single track trail, ski runs, mountain bike trails, and dirt roads.  Come for the race, stay for the views!
