Take a ski break at the Ski Beach!

UPDATE: The original Corona Ski Beach was so popular we're bringing it back once again on Saturday, March 15.
Since the Miller Lite Spring Après Concert Series started, we have been trying to come up with an on-mountain event to get the party started earlier. After all, if we can make the fun last all day, why not create an event that accomplishes this, right?
So we teamed up with Corona to create a Ski Beach on the lower mountain! (Sounds ridiculous, we know, since it's winter and everything.) But Corona is all about finding your beach, wherever that is, and for us it's on the meadow between Heckler and PayDay Runs. You can ski right up to it, it's got a great view of the mountain and it's the perfect space to kick back and have a BBQ, drinks, games and a lot of fun in the middle of your ski day.
Ski Beach is Saturday, March 8 from 12-3 p.m. and is sure to be fun for the whole family. We'll have hot dogs and burgers, beer and soda, adirondack chairs and all sorts of yard games! Corn hole, horseshoes and my personal favorite: badminton. And all afternoon, DJ Matty Mo will be spinning tunes.
The Ski Beach is located to skier's right of PayDay Lift, approximately where its mid-station is. The easiest way to access Ski Beach is from Blanche Run, taking a right onto Heckler once you get past the Nastar Course. Accessing it from PayDay is another option. It'll be hard to miss, with all the fun that'll be going on.
Take a break from your ski day for some Ski Beach lunch and to challenge your kids to a badminton game while you're at it. And don't forget about the Miller Lite Après Concert Series that begins at 3 p.m. featuring the Sideshow Ramblers on the PayDay Deck, letting the party continue!
